Ecoinvent [1] is a database for science-based, industrial, international life cycle assessment (LCA) and supplies transparent life cycle inventory (LCI) data of known quality.

As ecoinvent is a joint initiative from several institutes and departments from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Domain, their students have free access to the data. Students working with LENI should ask François Maréchal (mailto:francois.marechal@epfl.ch) for how to request an account.
